It displays antiParkinsonian activity.(In Vivo):Intracisternal injection of 10 μg/kg Talipexole dihydrochloride promotes vagal-mediated reflex bradycardia induced by injection of angiotensin in β-adrenoceptor-blocked dogs. Intravenous administration of Talipexole dihydrochloride at 30 mcg/kg initially caused an increase in blood pressure in cats. Then there is the long-term drop in blood pressure and heart rate.

In Vitro——
-
In VivoIntravenous injection of 30 micrograms/kg of Talipexole dihydrochloride (B-HT 920) into cats lead initially to an increase in blood pressure and then to a long-lasting decrease in blood pressure and heart rate. Vagally mediated reflex bradycardia elicited by angiotensin injection in beta-adrenoceptor-blocked dogs was facilitated by intracisternal injection of 10 micrograms/kg Talipexole dihydrochloride (B-HT 920).
